Implementation strategy or support

John Meagher is uniquely qualified to assist companies implementing the ACORD standard. Having spent 2 1/2 years developing the Life Standard for ACORD, he assisted many companies with implementation problems. Given the most difficult problems, he always devised a workable solution.

John often solved technical and implementation issues.

The original schema versions of the standard were developed by Mr. Meagher. He was the only technical person on the life team and assisted many of the members in their accomplishments toward the standards including mapping, problem solving and implementation strategy.

Schema enhancements and extensions

Using extensive design experience, our consultants will help in designing enhancements to the ACORD standard and in preparing maintenance requests to add those you choose to the ACORD standard.

Mapping

Zetein Inc will assist you in building your mapping to the ACORD standard. Mapping is usually a very taxing task for most companies.

John Meagher is intimately familiar with the ACORD standard and has extensive experience with many industry wide application systems. Using both of these skills, he will do (or aid you in) the mapping of your systems into the ACORD standard.

Since his primary job at ACORD was interpreting and implementing maintenance requests to the standard, he will design enhancements needed by your company and write the maintenance request to add your enhancement to the standard in enough detail that it should easily pass the vote into the standard.

Interface Design

We will design and help implement interfaces between systems. A standard is only useful if it is implemented between two systems or trading partners. Zetein has unique qualifications to design interfaces between diverse systems.

Legacy System Strategies

With heavy experience with legacy systems, older programming languages and access methods (CICS, COBOL, Assembler, VSAM, DB2 and others), and new Programming Languages and strategies(Java, Visual Basic, Web Services, J2EE, and others) , Zetein is uniquely suited to design strategies for easier access to legacy system information.

We can work on either side or both sides of the interface, the mainframe of the server side.

Programming

Zetein will perform implementation programming (Java or Visual Basic), interfacing with legacy systems (CICS, COBOL, Assembler, VSAM, DB2 and others), design tasks, or management of your implementation.
